Note - JMOD - Modem Connector. This is a 2 x 10 Pin Header. It has 2 settings. With the jumpers on Pins 9,10,11,12 - No daughterboard fax/modem installed. With the jumpers on Pins 9,10,11,12 removed - Daughterboard fax/modem not installed. A modem installed in an expansion slot WILL NOT WORK if jumper is removed.

Upgrades

  • Battery : This system uses a soldered Nicad battery. It is not changeable or replaceable.
  • Cache Memory : This system does not support cache memory.
  • Maths Co-Processor : A 80287-10 co-processor can be installed in socket U47, no jumpers need to be changed.
  • RAM : Standard on motherboard: 1MB X 3-1/2 (soldered, 80ns) Maximum on motherboard : 3MB (use 1MB 8-bit SIMMs, 80ns)
  • Speaker : The speaker is not changeable.
  • Video Memory : This system has 256k video memory soldered (not upgradeable).
