Upgrades

  • Cache Memory : This system does not support cache memory.
  • Maths Co-Processor : An 80C287 co-processor can be installed in socket U41, no jumpers need to be changed.
  • RAM : Use proprietary memory modules that can hold 1MB or 4MB of memory in SIPPs. The mainboard has two memory module sockets. Use proprietary SIPPs to expand the standard 1 MB RAM to 2,4,5, or 8 MB. Populate Slot 1 first. Install 5 MB by inserting the 4MB SIPP on Slot 1 and the 1MB SIPP on Slot 2.
  • Video Memory : This system has the video memory soldered (not upgradeable).
